The 11th Annual Millbrook Classic Car Show was held on the King Street in Millbrook on July 2 for which the street was completely rebuilt.
Hosted by the Millbrook and District Lions Club in conjunction with the Millbrook BIA, this year’s show played host to the finest vehicles in the region with the cars being at least 25 years old. According to information in the local media. Aside from a variety of antique cars that included muscle cars, classical touring and roadsters, the event also included music and great food. Further, there were hot air balloon rides available that were sponsored by Re/Max.
Millbrook, which is located in the valley of Baxter Creek, has “turn-of-the-century” charm combined with all of the modern amenities expected today. The architectural heritage features a variety of building styles typical of 19th century Ontario. Visitors, who were new to the village, found a treasure trove of experiences in the unique shops of Millbrook.
