Apple is pleased to introduce the launch of its Search Ads service to the UK, Australia, and New Zealand on April 25th, 10 a.m. PDT.
Search Ads is the Apple equivalent of Google Adwords. It is an efficient and easy way to help people discover your app on the App Store platform for iOS devices.
We spoke with Richard Baxter founder of SEO Gadget and he stated: “We have been working with Apple Search Ads since their launch in the US and we are very pleased with the results. Initially the interface needed work and targeting was off, but I believe Apple has made progress.”
According to Apple “The App Store is the primary place where people come to find apps. In fact, over 65% of downloads come directly from a search on the App Store. Put your app at the top of relevant search results and connect customers directly to download in one tap.”
Mike Jirout, co-founder at Cruiseline.com, states: “When I saw our performance numbers after trying out the $100 free credit, Search Ads was a no brainer. Our acquisition costs are less than a third of what we’ve seen on any other channel.”
So, if you’ve developed an iOS app and want to generation quick engagement and traction, it’s time to Apple Search Ads.
